Build a project story bank
Choose projects that demonstrate system design, debugging, collaboration, delivery, or trade-offs. For each one, be ready to explain the goal, your role, the hardest decision, and the result.
Explain how you think
For a technical prompt, clarify requirements, state assumptions, compare options, then explain how you would test and monitor the result. Clear reasoning often matters as much as the final answer.
Stay accurate
Do not claim ownership of a system or technology you only observed. It is stronger to explain what you contributed, what you learned, and how you would approach a similar problem.
Practise the follow-up
Interviewers often explore the first answer: why did you choose that option, what failed, and what would you do differently? Rehearse those honest follow-ups as well.
